Program Assessment
The Levitan Center designs and conducts program assessments in
different settings, providing valuable information to administrators,
managers, and staff -- all to strengthen program operations and
performance.
The program assessment process and instruments are specifically
tailored to the purpose and goals of the program – with the
actual assessment focusing on the program comprehensively or a critical
dimension of the program or service. The Levitan Center works closely
with clients to define the scope and specifications so that the
assessment is right on target with customers' needs.
A variety of approaches are used, including onsite observation
of services delivered, interviews with program staff/clients, document
review, data analysis, focus groups. These strategies are coupled
with analysis and report writing to relay observations and findings
in a way that can be readily used to strengthen practices.
